British Airways has announced its new Boeing 787-9 Dreamliner, with First class cabin, will start services from Heathrow to Delhi on October 25.
The 787-9, the first of which is due to arrive with BA in September, is 20ft longer that its 787-8 predecessor (of which the airline has eight).
The aircraft will feature four classes of cabin: First, Business, Premium economy and economy.
The new First cabin has eight seats in comparison to the 14 available on other British Airways long-haul aircraft.
The flights to Delhi will operate five times a week on Mondays, Wednesdays, Thursdays, Saturdays and Sundays. The return service will operate on Mondays, Tuesdays, Thursday, Fridays and Sundays.
Last week, British Airways announced it was opening up some of its flight data as part of an NDC pilot.
