British Airways has unveiled details of its multi-million pound re-design for New York JFK Terminal 7, the airline’s flagship US airport.
New CGI images show what the terminal will look like following a £52 million investment.
Set for completion by the end of 2018, the redesign will feature a new check-in concourse with a separate Club World and First area, updated lounges, and a refresh of The Concorde Room, available to First customers. There will also be new gate seating with additional power outlets and retail shops in the duty free shopping.
The terminal will also introduce an “authentic New York culinary experience, with local food and beverage concepts” inspired by the city’s street food scene, such as burgers and gourmet sandwiches.
British Airways operates 20 flights a day between New York and Heathrow, Gatwick and London City.
