STRASBOURG is to regain its London flights withdrawn by Ryanair who have failed to convince the Nancy court to reverse a decision that it was operating illegally. Brit Air, the Air France subsidiary, is to restart its Gatwick ” Strasbourg service which had been stopped in May, the airline claiming unfair competition. The AF branded flights will operate three times weekdaily and once on Saturday and Sunday using a 50-seat Bombardier Regional Jet. Services will resume, with three round-trips a day, beginning on Monday 20 October 2003. The airport has not been supported from the UK since Ryanair stopped its services from Stansted on 24 September, transferring allegiance to Baden Baden, just across the border in Germany.
