BMIBABY has become the latest carrier to announce its 2006 summer programme. New routes include Durham Tees Valley (Teesside) ” Knock; Manchester ” Newquay and Perpignan; Nottingham East Midlands ” Paris; Cardiff ” Amsterdam and Glasgow International. The number of weekly flights now tops 850. The airline's rapid expansion will be supported by the introduction of three more Boeing 737-300s, taking the total fleet size to 19. These additional aircraft will be based at Cardiff, Durham Tees Valley and East Midlands airports. bmibaby expects to carry over 4m passengers in 2006.
