BATTERSEA HELIPORT LONDON, situated on the south bank of the Thames, virtually opposite the Chelsea Harbour development, has been sold by its present owner Harrods, the departmental store, to Weston Aviation. The loss making Harrods helicopter and air taxi operation is said to continue. The facilities at the site include an air-conditioned terminal building, VIP passenger lounge, dedicated crew lounge, ground support services and a refuelling service.
