BRITISH AIRWAYS has revealed the cost of the damaging Gate Gourmet dispute and associated industrial action at up to ”45 million. However, the airline said this did not impact on its quarterly results as it suffered similar industrial action in summer 2004. BA also said fuel costs were its biggest contributor to costs, up 51%. Second quarter pre-tax profits were ”241 million for the three months to September 30, down ”52 million on last year.
