British Airways has announced a new route between Heathrow and Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, starting 2 April 2019.
BA claims it will be the only airline to offer the direct route and will bring it to 26 US destinations from London.
The route will be operated by BA’s new B787-8 Dreamliner, with 35 seats in Club World business class, 25 in World Traveller Plus and 154 in World Traveller.
Flights will run on Tuesday, Wednesday, Friday and Sunday. They will depart Heathrow at 1700 and land in Pittsburgh at 2015 local time, with return services leaving Pittsburgh at 2150 and arriving at 1025 the following day.
