With regard to the Heathrow problems concerning British Airways and its partner airlines the BA shorthaul schedule from Heathrow should return to normal today (Monday 15 August) as the airline plans to operate 100% of flights. The return to normal for UK and European flights is a day earlier than originally envisaged. The longhaul programme is also returning to normal and will average just above 95% of flights for the next couple of days as crew operating hours, rosters and aircraft continue to come back into alignment. All displaced bags at Heathrow will be transited to their final destination tomorrow to be reunited with their owners. Flights will continue to have limited catering provisions onboard due to the ongoing industrial dispute at the catering supplier, Gate Gourmet. The complete flying programme for Monday is available on the airline's website.
