BRITISH AIRWAYS will be introducing a new upgraded Club World business class from summer 2006. The airline says it will revamp all aspects of the journey ” both on the ground and in the air ” and will also make a major upgrade to its in-flight entertainment system in all four cabins. The seat, being developed in great secrecy in Northern Ireland in conjunction with BE Aerospace who will manufacture the lie flat product, is bound to set off another marketing war between the leading international carriers all of whom have been upgrading their offerings in recent years. But don”t expect an instant transformation. It will take time to remodel every aircraft in the fleet.
