BRITISH AIRWAYS is monitoring closely the emergence of the narrow long haul business class product as epitomised by Lufthansa, Swiss, Air France and possibly by some new start-ups. Chief Executive Rob Eddington is open minded regarding BA getting into this area and points out that studies were under way when he first arrived in May 2000. However that BA believes in frequency typically New York now served 10 times daily from London and a flight leaving JFK on the hour every hour from six o”clock in the evening until 2300.
