With the royal wedding dominating television and news feeds today, British Airways is joining the headlines with a flight crewed entirely by people named Meghan and Harry.
Flight BA93 from Heathrow to Toronto takes off at 1310 this afternoon, an hour after the wedding of Prince Harry and Meghan Markle at Windsor Castle. The ten-strong cabin crew will be made up of two people named Harry, seven named Megan and one called Meghan.
Passengers on the flight will each be given a personal bottle of Castelnau Blanc du Blanc to celebrate.
In addition, any BA customer named Harry, Meghan or Megan departing from Heathrow Terminal 5 today will have access to the airline’s First lounge.
Passengers departing Heathrow will also be offered a lemon and elderflower Victoria sponge – the same flavour as the royal wedding cake.
