BRITISH AIRWAYS is to switch four long haul services, the double dailies from Tokyo and Johannesburg from T4 to T1 at Heathrow for the start of the winter season. A full programme of flight switches ” consisting of a dozen long haul and 35 short haul flights ” are to be brought in for the summer schedules 2004. The moving will make it more convenient for many of the airline's transfer passengers to connect between long haul and short haul flights without having to change terminals at the airport.
