BRITISH AIRWAYS, in what has truly been (and continues to be) a very difficult period, has quietly confirmed that from the start of the winter season it will move from Charles de Gaulle T1 to CDG T2B.
Part of what is now the main terminal complex at the airport 2B offers direct connections to the TGV/RER railway network, walkable interline facilities and the integrated Sheraton Hotel.
With 1.5m passengers CDG is BA”s largest overseas operation.
T1 at CDG, now over 20 years old, has never really worked properly, Air France escaping to the much better T2 facility years ago.
Day return London City passengers will find the new arrangement particularly good.
ABTN intends to review the ongoing BA Heathrow fracas in a future edition.
