LONDON CITY AIRPORT is to lose its four times daily Glasgow service but gain an additional carrier and four new flights to Edinburgh. British Airways is to drop its Glasgow flights, which were introduced in the spring and replace its Scottish operation with similar services to Edinburgh at the end of October. Also new for BA is a three times daily rotation to Geneva, replacing the long established SWISS operation. The announcement puts a question mark over Club Airways plans to operate Citation business jets following its abandoning of a Geneva route to Farnborough, the west of London airport not finding favour with the business community.
