BRITISH AIRWAYS has detailed its winter programme which includes new services from Gatwick to Dubrovnik and Turin. Manchester gains twice daily flights from Manchester to Copenhagen. Additional frequencies from Gatwick to the Caribbean will commence in December with flights to Antigua increasing from seven to 10 each week and to Barbados from eight to 10. The Bilbao service will switch from Gatwick to Heathrow. BA flights from Gatwick to D”sseldorf will be suspended from October and between Heathrow and Zagreb from 14 September and flights from Heathrow to San Diego will be suspended from 26October. Another change for the winter 2003 season is that British Airways' flights from Heathrow to Johannesburg and Tokyo will operate from Heathrow's Terminal 1 instead of Terminal 4 from 26 October. Both these routes have a high number of transfer passengers, many of whom will no longer have to swap terminals at Heathrow for their connecting flights. The BA Gatwick ” Brussels flights are in danger but could be saved by codeshare partner SN Brussels Airlines, who have expressed an interest in taking over the route. http://www.ba.com
