AUSTRIAN AIRLINES is to utilise the skills of a number of culinary experts to revamp the catering offerings within the airline”s Business Class cabin on long-haul routes. Menus will be tailored to the individual routes that are flown to and from the airline”s base in Vienna. Passengers travelling from Beijing can sample creations from local restauranteur Jin R., owner of the renowned Beijing establishment "Green T. House". Those flying from Washington, Montreal and Toronto can expect to dine on a blend of Austrian ” American cuisine formulated by Kurt Gutenbrunner, responsible for running New York”s Walls” restaurant and Sabarsky coffee house. Long-haul flights departing from Vienna will be serving a menu created by the head chef of the Palais Coburg hotel in Vienna, Christian Petz. The wine list for all markets has been selected after consultation with Herman Botolen, and includes a range of Austrian and International varieties.
