AUSTRALIAN AIRLINES, the long haul leisure carrier 100% owned by Qantas and serving the Far East, has announced Darwin as its 12th destination. From May 2004, Australian will fly twice a week between Singapore and Darwin complementing the three weekly flights by Qantas. The service continues on to Cairns. A fifth Boeing 767-300 aircraft will be added to the airline”s fleet.
