AURIGNY, in effect the national airline of Guernsey, is to cancel its daily Jersey ” Manchester service from 5 July. The route was introduced at the beginning of the summer season with a Saab 340 but clearly could not compete with bmi Baby and British Airways all jet operations. The successful twice-daily Manchester ” Guernsey flights continue with a slight revision to the schedule.
