ALPHA ONE has been grounded. The embryo airline founded by would-be pilot and aviation boss Martin Halstead (19), has finally joined the great hangar in the sky, but not before upsetting potential passengers and hurting others in their pockets. Never a proper airline, when it did fly it was officially under someone else”s licence, Alpha One finally got into the air out of Edinburgh in February, after announcing several other airport locations. The ”airline” seems to have operated for about six weeks to The Isle of Man, but no longer. It”s website is still functioning, ”under construction”.
