CANADA will be very competitive price-wise this summer with a major
boost of services by Air Transat. The airline is to fly from Gatwick
to Toronto daily, Vancouver four times per week, Calgary three times,
twice to Montreal and adds a weekly service to Halifax, in lovely Nova
Scotia. Toronto is easily the most popular destination in 2006 with
direct departures from Belfast, Birmingham, Exeter, Glasgow,
Manchester and Newcastle. Both Glasgow and Manchester also offer
Vancouver and Calgary. The airline operates two-class Airbus A330
aircraft on most Transatlantic flights. (see also OPEN SKIES below)
