AIR SCOTLAND seems to be losing any goodwill from the country with
which the Greek owners were very keen to identify when the carrier was
first launched in 2003. Its latest debacle took place just a week
back when passengers were severely delayed and some got airborne for
their holidays 33 hours behind schedule and from Manchester Airport
rather than Glasgow. Holiday Which magazine says that Air Scotland
had the worst punctuality record of any carrier operating UK flights
to the most popular tourist destinations.
