AIR NAMIBIA (SW) will introduce a direct service between Gatwick and Windhoek next Friday (1 July) with ongoing connections to Cape Town and Johannesburg. The new 10 hour 15 minute non-stop service will be operated by an MD11 aircraft from Gatwick (north terminal) on Wednesday, Friday and Sunday evenings, arriving in Windhoek the next morning. The return flight departs Hosea Kutako International Airport on Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday evenings arriving London the following morning. The 308 - seat aircraft will offer a 32” pitch in economy (total 283 economy seats) and 25 business class seats with a 55” pitch. Combined with its Frankfurt operation Air Namibia now offers a daily service between Europe and Windhoek with connections to southern Africa.
