Air Malta is to reintroduce flights from Manchester to the Mediterranean island for the summer 2018 season.
The airline cancelled the route at the start of the summer 2017 schedule but will resume weekly flights from May 1 to October 16, 2018.
Air Malta is expanding services and adding frequencies next year as it adds a ninth aircraft to its fleet.
The airline currently flies to Malta from Heathrow, Gatwick, Birmingham and Bristol.
Air Malta will face competition on the Manchester route from Ryanair, Easyjet and Jet2.
