LISBON is to be served from Gatwick on a week daily basis from the beginning of the winter season by Air Luxor, the privately owned Portuguese airline established back in 1988. Under the brand name Air Luxor Light a two-class Airbus A320 will operate the route with only TAP and British Airways as competitors from Heathrow.. With Airbus A320 series and A330 (shown here), as well as the Lockheed Tristar, the Air Luxor network includes over 45 routes (some all year-round and some seasonal) including Paris from Faro, Lisbon, Madeira and Oporto. This winter the airline will also be flying to Madrid from both Lisbon and Porto.
