AIR FRANCE is to get over its passenger handling problems at Charles de Gaulle for the peak summer season following the rebuilding of part of terminal 2E due to its partial collapse last year. Known as Satellite H this second temporary boarding area can simultaneously handle up to six long haul flights. A similar first temporary area was opened in December 2004. Reached by bus from 2E once passengers have checked in and passed through passport control and security checkpoints it consists of a lounge with approximately 300 seats for Air France”s first and business passengers and those of SkyTeam member airlines.
