AIR FRANCE has introduced a 0635 departure from London City Airport to Paris Orly. With this new flight, a 1000 (local) appointment in the centre of the French capital can easily be met. There are now six daily (Monday to Friday) services in each direction with the last departure from Orly 2020. Air France continues with a limited Monday to Friday operation to Charles de Gaulle leaving City airport 0905 arriving CDG 1115. The return service is at 1755 getting in at 1800. London City is the only British airport to serve Orly (with the exception of a weekend Edinburgh flight) which is a major AF domestic hub and the Paris gateway for services to the French Caribbean. Air France has invested heavily in passenger operated check-in machines. This is particularly noticeable at London City where even in these security conscious times arrival ten minutes before departure is just about on. Assuming you have pre-booked all you need is a machine readable plastic card with your name on it.
