AIR DOLOMITI, the Italian regional airline has taken delivery of its eighth ATR 72-500 turboprop as the airline looks to boost its domestic and regional operations in co-operation with its European partners. The carrier introduced the new aircraft into service on flights for Lufthansa Regional, feeding its main hubs at Frankfurt and Munich. The former independent airline is now a wholly-owned subsidiary of German giant Lufthansa and is operating eight smaller 50-seat ATR 42-500s in addition to the larger ATR 72 models.
