AIR ATLANTIQUE is adding three 50-seat ATR42 turboprops to its fleet, but not the long established Coventry operation (who incidentally now have their own ATR available for passenger as well as cargo charter and flies as Atlantic). This delivery marks the beginning of the re-launch of Air Atlantique after the takeover of the airline by the Conseil General of Seine Maritime and the Conseil G”n”ral du Calvados in November 2002. The airline operates now under its own flight number and aims to develop regional air transportation between the French region and Europe. A forth aircraft is expected to be delivered shortly. MDT-France specialises in raising finance for large value assets such as aircraft, rolling stock, ships and property. In aviation, MDT has developed a very strong presence within the regional market and, in addition to sourcing finance for aircraft, also provides general asset management services, including re-marketing, lease monitoring, technical surveys and purchasing services.
