Kazakhstan carrier Air Astana has launched two new flights from Astana to Tyumen and Kazan in Russia as it accepts delivery of its third A320neo-family aircraft.
The Astana-Tyumen route will operate three times a week on Mondays, Wednesdays and Saturdays. It will be served by an Embraer E190, with nine Business class seats and 88 in Economy.
Meanwhile, the Astana-Kazan flights will operate on Sundays on board the A320 and E190 aircraft. Air Astana says the service supplements the existing Almaty-Kazan route, which operates twice a week on Tuesdays and Fridays.
The airline has recently taken delivery of its second A321neo – its third in the A320neo family. The aircraft offers 28 seats in Business class and 151 in Economy. Air Astana has ordered a total of 17 of the aircraft family, with the remaining 14 due to be delivered over the next two years.
