Russian carrier Aeroflot is to launch winter flights between Gatwick and Moscow from November.
The daily service from Gatwick to Moscow Sheremetyevo is set to begin on November 15 using Airbus A320 aircraft.
Easyjet previously operated flights between Gatwick and Moscow but ended these services in March due to a lack of demand. Although the airline has said it may restore the route if demand picks up.
Aeroflot is also planning to frequencies from Heathrow for the winter 2016/17 season starting from October 30.
