AER LINGUS is to add a further pair of Airbus A330s to bring its long haul flight up to nine. One will be a -200 model (24+245 passengers) and the other a -300 (24+303). Both aircraft will be delivered in mid-2007 but the airline is being (commercially?) reticent on the actual deployment, citing new bilaterals. At the present time AE operates Airbus ”big twin” on routes to Boston, Chicago, Dubai, Los Angeles and New York, plus charter services to Orlando.
