AEGEAN AIRLINES based in Athens and started in the early 1990s, has placed a firm order for eight Airbus A320s.
Hitherto an Avro and Boeing 737 operator, the airline says the new ”planes will be operated two-class and that it is considering a route expansion away from its traditional Athens and Thessaloniki hubs.
