AEGEAN AIRLINES, the independent Greek airline and ERA award winner, is to launch non-stop flights from Athens to Milan-Linate, Athens to Munich and from Kavala to Munich for the winter season.
Athens to Frankfurt now daily and several other routes have increased frequencies. In the first 8 months of 2003, Aegean flew 1.83m passengers, a14% increase versus the same period last year.
On the domestic network the passenger growth was 12%, while internationally Aegean flew 19% more passengers. The airline is expected to acquire more Boeing 737 aircraft.
