BREAKING NEWS is a story emerging from the United States that the emergency landing of a New York bound, near-fully-loaded JetBlue airliner in California last week is not the first time an Airbus A320 was forced to land with a misdirected nose wheel landing gear. According to attorneys and pilots with the aviation law firm Kreindler & Kreindler a search of air safety records shows that prior to the dramatic emergency landing at LAX, in which 140 passengers were flown for over two hours while the airline worked on the problem, eight other Airbus A320s have been forced to land with wheels perpendicular to the runway since 1998. The whole matter is being investigated by the FAA and the French authorities.
