BOEING has finally designated its all new ”Dreamliner” as the 787, with the 7X7 moniker now being quietly dropped. The news coincided with the announcement of an order from a consortium of six Chinese airlines for 60 787s, the first to each delivered in time for the Beijing Olympics. The total of 787 commitments now stands at 186.
