LIVERPOOL John Lennon Airport is to gain 11 new Ryanair destinations from 3 October. These are Aberdeen and Inverness (Scotland); Alghero and Ancona (Italy); Kaunas (Lithuania); Krakow, Poznan and Wroclaw (Poland); Santander and Santiago (Spain) and Tampere (Finland). All will operate three times weekly (except Aberdeen and Inverness seven times weekly and Tampere four times weekly) bringing the total number of destinations served by Ryanair from Liverpool to 32. The once near derelict airport, with its shoddy terminal building, has now one of the most modern facilities in the country and serves 57 destinations.
