There was considerable celebration all over the world concerning the 100th anniversary of the Wright Brothers first controlled flight last week. Our photograph shows Prince Phillip at the Royal Air Force Museum Hendon opening Milestones of Flight, the dramatic new permanent exhibition hall which celebrates a century of aviation. Prince Philip is an ancient aviator whose house overlooks Heathrow. His support over the years, in all flying matters, is to be applauded. http://www.rafmuseum.org
