Rosewood has opened a new hotel in the Austrian capital Vienna – the upmarket brand’s fifth property in Europe.
Located in historic Petersplatz square, Rosewood Vienna features 71 rooms and suites in a converted former bank building, including the presidential suite, known as Hoffmann House.
Facilities include the Neue Hoheit (New Highness) brasserie-style restaurant on the hotel’s sixth floor, which includes an outdoor terrace and private dining space for up to 60 guests.
Meetings facilities are housed in Rosewood Vienna’s Pavilion on the first floor with its four rooms able to accommodate up to 110 people in various configurations, allowing it to host a range of events from board meetings to receptions.
The new Vienna property joins Rosewood’s existing European hotels in London, Tuscany, Paris and Madrid. Further hotels in Amsterdam, Munich and Rome are scheduled to open next year.
The brand is also due to open a new property in the former home of the US Embassy in London’s Grosvenor Square in 2024. The Chancery Rosewood will be its second hotel in the UK capital alongside the existing Rosewood London.
