Property management company ALTIDO is making a move into the corporate travel market as well as adding apartments in Birmingham.
ALTIDO, which specialises in offering short-term rental properties, currently has more than 200 corporate properties in the UK, Italy and Portugal.
The company, which was acquired by European shared accommodation rental platform DoveVivo last year, is opening a new location in Birmingham’s Jewellery Quarter at the end of February.
The Birmingham property will offer 16 one-bedroom and eight two-bedroom apartments, each containing a kitchen, high-speed wifi and desk space.
ALTIDO already offers corporate apartments in London, Edinburgh, Milan and Lisbon. They include properties close to London’s Battersea Power Station, as well as apartments in a refurbished brewery in Edinburgh.
Davide Ravalli, head of growth at DoveVivo Group, said: “Business travellers are demanding more home comforts, and we’ve noticed an uptick in searches for apartments with kitchens, desks and high-speed wifi.
“Birmingham is a growing corporate accommodation market, with HS2 (High Speed 2) railway completion planned for 2030, which will attract more corporates to the city. ALTIDO is pleased to get a foothold in the UK’s second-largest city with this flexible rent-to-rent model.”
ALTIDO was launched following a merger of four property managers based in four different European countries in 2019.
