Work is well under way at the site, conveniently located directly opposite the main passenger terminal, with completion due before the end of 2006. The 150-room property includes an indoor swimming pool and an English pub. Baku is recognised as an expanding transport and business hub for the Caspian Sea region, attracting investment from all over the world thanks to the country”s huge oil reserves. British Airways from Heathrow and Azerbaijan Airways at Gatwick link the city to London.
