Marriott’s Moxy brand has made its debut in Manchester with the opening of Moxy Manchester City.
The experiential hotel brand’s latest property is located in the Spinningfields area of the UK city in a renovated building which was once a hat factory.
Moxy Manchester City offers 146 rooms featuring walk‐in showers, TVs with Netflix and motion-activated LED guidelights.
The brand’s hotels also feature a “Guestbook” wall which streams photos and videos that Moxy guests have shared on social media.
One of the Manchester property’s main features will be Bar Moxy, which also doubles up as the front desk with guests receiving a cocktail on arrival.
The bar also features illuminated artwork, as well as offering table and board games, alongside nightly DJ sessions.
Moxy now has 72 hotels across Europe, including 16 properties in the UK, 23 in Germany and another eight in France.
Moxy Manchester City is being operated by KE Hotels.
