Langham Hospitality Group has announced an agreement with Canapaya Development Co to manage a luxury hotel in Bangkok, which is set to open in 2021.
The Langham, Bangkok at Chao Phraya River will feature 2017 guest rooms and 43 suites. Half of the deluxe rooms will have balconies with a 180-degree view of the river, while the other half will overlook both the river and the city. The suites range from one to three bedrooms, some of which will feature separate kitchens.
The property is also being designed with one of the largest ballrooms in Bangkok, with 1,500 square metres overlooking the river. Additionally, there will be an outdoor terrace for al fresco events.
Dining experiences will range from T’ang Court, named after the three Michelin-star restaurant in Hong Kong to an international all-day restaurant, al fresco dining at the pool bar and a speciality restaurant located at the promenade.
The hotel will also offer a spa and wellness centre complete with a 50-metre outdoor swimming pool.
