Hilton will open two hotels in Rotterdam after signing a franchise agreement with Annexum, an Amsterdam-based real estate management company.
Mainport Hotel Rotterdam, will be a first for Hilton's Curio Collection for Rotterdam and will be adjacent to the DoubleTree by Hilton Rotterdam Centre.
The properties will join Hilton Rotterdam and Motto by Hilton Rotterdam
Blaak, doubling the hotel group’s presence in the Dutch city.
Both are due to open in 2024 following renovations. During the renovations the hotels will remain operational and will be trading as Hilton affiliate hotels.
Patrick Fitzgibbon, senior vice president, development, Europe, Middle East and Africa, Hilton, said: “Hilton has a proud legacy in [The] Netherlands dating back more than 60 years, and we’re actively growing our portfolio to cater to customer demand, with 18 hotels now trading or under development.”
Mainport Hotel Rotterdam will offer 215 rooms, an on-site bar and restaurant overlooking the River Maas, and 600sqm of conference and events space, set across 10 meeting rooms.
Next door, the DoubleTree by Hilton Rotterdam Centre will offer 265 rooms, a bar and restaurant, spa facilities, swimming pool and meeting space.
The two hotels together can offer combined meetings and events capacity for 800 people.
