It seems that Alistair Campbell got involved with the hit US TV cartoon programme ”The Simpsons”. Downing Street was somehow brought into an episode. The Prime Minister”s PR man rewrote a piece.
PRIME MINISTER: ”Oh, I know how you Americans love castles. You should go to my birthplace, Edinburgh, there”s a big one there”.
HOMER (Simpson): ”We just saw the Queen”s Windsor Castle out of the ”plane window. I can”t believe she built a castle so close to Heathrow airport.”
