INCIDENTALLY: Security Issue
We have heard of the tale of an international airport”s security system at an African airport (well it had to be in Africa.)
It concerns an experienced traveller.
The staff were particularly officious and far from helpful and even the outbound passport inspection slow and queue forming.
The hand luggage scanner seemed to work. The experienced traveller went through the standard gate and sat down in the waiting area to wait for a colleague and watch fellow passengers journey through the gate.
Nobody was bleeped.
It was some minutes before he realised that the machine had never been switched on!
