HEATHROW & GATWICK airports have come up with a new scheme to offer the latest flight information on mobile phones called ”flying messages service”. It is the simplest thing in the world to use, texting 82222 with the flight number, that is typically BA123 or CO4408. ”Flying messenger” costs 30p for each request (excluding VAT) and holds information on flights for up to four hours after landing and 12 hours ahead of the scheduled departure time. If you are taking off or picking someone up, you can now sit back, relax and enjoy your time either in one of the many food outlets at the airport or indeed elsewhere, without the need to keep an eye on the flight display monitors. It is available for O2, Orange, T-Mobile and Vodaphone customers.
