Travel Technology Europe, the event for tech decision makers which runs alongside the Business Travel Show, is to rebrand as the TravelTech Show and will launch with a new hybrid, follow-the-sun format when it returns for its 18th annual outing.
The interactive, two‐day event will take place on 22 and 23 June 2021 and will include both a face‐to‐face experience as well as a virtual conference and networking programme that will start in Asia Pacific, before moving to Europe and closing in the US.
TravelTech Show’s crucial face-to-face element will be delivered from its new home in London’s ExCeL after several years at Olympia. The London event will also offer a hosted buyer programme to bring buyers and suppliers together.
“The launch of TravelTech Show is the next stage of evolution for us and the industry and we’re really excited at the prospect of bringing together an international audience of senior digital, marketing and commercial technology specialists to learn, grow, sell and buy from each other,” said David Chapple, managing director UK, Northstar Travel Group.
“Powered by the global might of the Northstar Travel Group brands, including Phocuswright and WiT, buyers from across the global tourism sector will be introduced to innovations, macro and micro trends and original technology to bring their tech stack bang up to date.
“There will be tons of opportunity for networking in person and online, to benchmark their businesses and technology offerings against their peers and competitors, and to find new routes to increased efficiencies, boosted revenues and better customer journeys through the educational programme.”
