Travel data analyst PredictX is teaming up with sustainability specialist Squake to offer a new module to track, report and manage CO2 emissions from corporate travel.
In a statement, the two companies said the solution would offer “audit-ready precision within the PredictX platform ecosystem”, with corporates able to analyse emissions based on their chosen methodology configurations across a range of spending categories: air, hotel, rail, car rental and expenses.
Clients using the platform will receive “granular” breakdowns of emissions by team, route or individual traveller.
The companies added that the new module within the PredictX platform had been designed to “meet the demands of even the most complex multinational programmes”.
The platform uses a range of sources for data including TMCs, expense systems, credit cards, online booking tools, GDSs, suppliers and HR systems. The data is then validated and enriched using AI-based tools to generate “a single consolidated source of truth”.
Keesup Choe, CEO of PredictX, explained: “This partnership means our clients can rely on a native solution, purpose-built to meet sustainability reporting requirements without compromising on accuracy or auditability.”
The first enterprise clients are currently being onboarded to the sustainability solution, with a wider rollout and more upgrades to be announced in the next few months.
Philipp von Lamezan, CEO of Squake, said: “Integrating with the technology and innovation leader in travel and expense data analytics is a natural step.
“Together, we’re raising the bar for what enterprise clients can expect from sustainability tools - transforming data into meaningful action.”
