BCD Travel has added its new BCD Alert mobile app to its
suite of traveller security solutions, providing travel and security managers
with a tool to monitor and respond to risks remotely.
The app tracks caution, warning and emergency-level alerts
against traveller bookings, delivering alerts via push notification to the home
screen of the travel or security manager’s mobile device and prompting a list
of impacted employees. Managers can contact affected travellers directly from
the app via SMS, email, or a click-to-call function. Clients who have enabled
emergency response capabilities in the TripSource traveller app can also see
who has checked in as safe so they can focus on any remaining travellers.
