Oyo Hotels & Homes has reshuffled its leadership team and corporate organisation, according to a post on its website from founder and group CEO Ritesh Agarwal.
A new division, Oyo International, includes China, the United States and the European Union. Gautam Swaroop, former head of the China division, will serve as CEO of this new unit, beginning on 1 March. Assisting him will be Prasun Choudhary as president of Oyo International. Choudhary previously served as Japan operating partner. Oyo's US country head, Kasra Moshkani, will report to Swaroop, according to an Oyo spokesperson.
New chief technology officer Ankit Mathuria comes to Oyo after more than seven years at Amazon, where he helped launch and grow the company in the Middle East and North Africa. Former CTO Anil Goel will counsel Oyo as an advisor.
Additional appointments include global chief supply officer Ayush Mathur, who joined Oyo in 2014; chief growth officer Kavikrut, who uses one name and will oversee the global brand and global public relations and communications groups; and interim chief product officer Abhinav Sinha, who will take on this role alongside his position as global chief operating officer.
